Press Release Body = With voice revenues in the Netherlands declining 7.6% pa (to end 2007 on $24.3 pcm) data will play an increasingly important part in the Netherlands mobile market.
Data from Wireless World Forum's "Netherlands Mobile Market 2006" statistical handbook reveals that data ARPU will grow 4% by 2007 with the average Dutch subscriber spending $5.5 a month on data services.
With no indication that the decline in voice ARPU will slow the operators must look to stimulate the data market further if they are to maintain current revenues and reduce the costly effect of churn.
